> 5 years old:
- 1 ampoule via inhalation QID.
- Interval may be reduced to Q8H or Q12H when an adequate response has been obtained.

- Adverse Effects: cough, throat irritation, and bronchoconstriction in small portions of patients
- Caution
- Treatment should not be withdrawn abruptly unless substituted by inhaled steroid.
- Not for acute asthmatic attacks. Use only as preventive treatments for mild persistant exercise-induced asthma/allergen exposure
- Usually takes 4 to 6 weeks before full effect is seen.
- Not recommended for children 5 years and younger due to conflicting data.
