suppository: 12.5 mg, 25 mg (made locally for BCCH) & 50 mg (commercially available)

eye drops: 0.1% multidose bottle (5mL)
Children:
Rectal: 0.5 - 1 mg/kg/dose (round to nearest 12.5 mg) PR Q812H (Max: 50 mg/dose)
Maximum: 100 mg/24 hours


Adults:
Ophthalmic: one drop 4 times daily (44)
May increase serum levels of digoxin, methotrexate and lithium. May decrease the antiplatelet effects of ASA.
Note: concomitant use of methotrexate and NSAID is a standard of care for treating JIA

If suppositories are to be split in half, the splitting should be done lengthwise.
