May increase serum levels of digoxin, methotrexate and lithium. May decrease the antiplatelet effects of ASA. Note: concomitant use of methotrexate and NSAID is a standard of care for treating JIA. Up to 90% absorbed by rectal route. Contraindicated in active bleeding, coagulation defects, necrotizing entercolitis, and renal insufficiency.
