AMILORIDE (Paeds) Mechanism of action: Diuretic Ref: 44 Last update: 2021-02-20	Tablet: 5 mg	Diuresis and Potassium Sparing Dose 0.4 to 0.625 mg/kg/24 hr PO once daily. Adolescents: 5 to 10 mg/24 hr PO once daily or div. BID to maximum of 20 mg/24 hr.	Monitor K⁺if receiving potassium supplements or ACE inhibitors in addition to amiloride.
