Mechanism of action:

Antidiabetic; sulfonylurea

Last update: 2021-02-20		 tablet: 5 mg Must be individualized.

Adults:
Initial: 2.5 to 5 mg PO daily or divided BID.
Increase or decrease by 2.5 mg daily, depending on response.
Maximum: 20 mg/24 hr.
  • Give dose with breakfast.
  • If more than 10 mg/24 hr is required, take excess with evening meal.
