Not to be confused with rabbit anti-thymocyte globulin, brand name Thymoglobuline Intradermal sensitivity testing (5 mcg/dose intradermally with contralateral saline control) is recommended prior to the administration of the initial dose of ATG, but may not be predictive of future sensitivity reactions Pre-treatment with acetaminophen, steroids and antihistamines may reduce the incidence of rigors, fever, rashes.
