PHENAZOPYRIDINE (Paeds) (Pyridium) Mechanism of action: Urinary analgesic. Ref: 6, 44 Last update: 2019-08-15	tablet: 100 mg	Children 6-12 years old: 4 mg/kg/dose PO TID until symptoms are controlled or 2 days. Adults: 100-200 mg PO TID until symptoms are controlled or 2 days.	Colors urine orange; stains clothing and is difficult to remove. Administer with food.
