Mechanism of action:

Antituberculosis agent.

Last update: 2022-09-08		 tablet: 500 mg Children:
30-40 mg/kg/dose PO once daily. Max 2g/dose or
60-80 mg/kg/dose PO three times weekly (Max  2 g/dose).
Should not be given alone in the treatment of TB.

Adverse effects: hepatoxic effects, hyperuricemia, arthalgia, GI upset.

Standard Prescription:
