Adjunct to thyroid radioiodine ablation. The second dose should be administered 24 hours prior to blood testing and radioiodine scanning/therapy. Safety and efficacy have not been established in children <16 years of age. On the B.C. Cancer Benefit List. Standard Prescription: thyrotrophin alfa __ mg IM (into buttock) Q24H for 2 doses. |
