Comments
Emergency release only - contact Special Access Program
Do not use as a single antifungal agent.
Resistance develops quickly when used as monotherapy.
Dosage adjustment required in renal impairment.
Well absorbed after oral administration and distributes widely, with good penetration into CSF, aqueous humor and peritoneal fluids.
ADR: bone marrow suppression, nephrotoxicity, myocardial toxicity, rash, hypoglycemia, hypokalemia, GI symptoms, ataxia, confusion, hallucinations.
