suppository: containing 65 mg powdered opium and 15 mg dry extract of belladonna
Comments
for moderate to severe pain associated with ureteral spasms, not responsive to non-opioid analgesics.
side effects of PR opium (e.g. respiratory and/or CNS depression) can be additive when given with systemically-administered opioids or other CNS depressants.
