clotrimazole 1% topical cream apply to __ (affected area) __ (frequency)
clotrimazole 1 tablet PV daily x__days
Dosages
Topical: Apply to skin BID.
Vaginal Cream: 1 applicatorful PV at bedtime x 6 days
Vaginal Tablet: 200 mg PV at bedtime x 3 days
For external symptoms: Apply topical cream BID for 10-14 days

Comments
Candida diaper dermatitis: apply prior to application of barrier cream.
Vulvogaginal candidiasis: Treat only when symptomatic. 6 or 7 day regimens are recommended over shorter duration treatment options if history of recent antibiotic use for bacterial infection.
