- cortisporin eye ointment: Apply � inch to__ eye(s) Q__H
- cortisporin eye drop: Apply__drop(s) in__conjunctival sac Q__H
- cortisporin ear drops: Instil__drops in__ear(s) Q__H
Dosages
Eye Ointment: Apply � inch Q3 to 4H
Eye Drops: 1 to 2 drop in conjunctival sac Q3 to 4H.
Ear Drops: 3 to 4 drops in ear TID to QID.
Eye Drops: 1 to 2 drop in conjunctival sac Q3 to 4H.
Ear Drops: 3 to 4 drops in ear TID to QID.
Mechanism of Action
Anti-infectives (neomycin-polymyxin B) and corticosteroid (hydrocortisone) combination

Comments
- Topical neomycin may induce contact dermatitis
- Caution: In cases where tympanic perforation (or tympanostomy tube) is seen or suspected, cortisporin ear drops should be avoided or used with extreme caution because of the risk of ototoxicity
